I was unable to get the after market hose mate with used coolant flange without leaking. Lightly used after market coolant flange hose, oem and hose missing a clip was unable to get the mate with return line without leaking. Attach heater line last.
Test for leaks by filling with water. I ended up buying oem from dealer when the only real problem was o ring on head to coolant flange. Start by connecting the coolant flange to head tight enough hold o ring in place, attach return line and tighten it then. It is a bit tricky to hook things up since there are three points of attachment.
The heater hose has its own built in o ring.
